Begger Bowl Handmade is made of brass lining and layered with papier mache

We have made these bowls from brass covered with papier mache layers. It needs a bit of physical strength to furnish the smooth surfaces. We use rice water and stones to create durable surfaces.
We purchased this paper mache bowl in raw brass form. Than after layering and smoothening process, I hand-painted it with Shabi-guliwilayat design using camlin colors, real gold colors and lacquer varnishes. It took me almost 25 days of painting and subsequent drying to make each of these blue mugal bowls together.
